Interesting! 'Stranger Things' is shameless 80s nostalgia. They brought back those disgusting waffles, so why not a special pony? Season 3 might feature a scene where a pony toy gets influenced by The Upside Down

I think she looks really cool. And let's be real, they chose Applejack because she's also a G4 character and therefore easiest to recognize.

Personally I was skeptical of this, mostly because I don't watch the series (don't have Netflix) so I had found it very strange.
On that note there seems to be a good bit of proof that its real. Will I buy one if it comes to my Target? I doubt it, I rare go there as it's out of my way and when I get off work I don't really want to go the opposite direction from home (unless I'm in need of crafting supplies lol)

The stranger things and tv/movie stuff tend to be on a back wall near the video games and such.

If they pop up, I'm sure they'd pop up there.

Except that Hasbro made an Eggo based Stranger Things card game in collab with both Netflix and Eggos. I really don't care if anyone loves to eat these waffles (I don't) but please don't eat the playing cards

You just reminded me that a lot of the Eleven action figures come with a tiny Eggos box (complete with real Eggo box art from the 80’s). So yeah, Eggo must be loving the royalties and publicity they’re getting from this.

I think that at this point New Coke is so notorious, everyone on Earth will buy it just to see if it’s really as bad as they say (or in some cases, as they remember it). The company will make a profit just on that.

I’m not a fan of stranger things, but I do love unique ponies. Also, my sister dislikes ponies but enjoys stranger things...this might be good common ground for both of us!
