Hair match for UK Gypsy? (From Dollyhair)

I have a UK Gypsy with a chunk of hair missing but I can't work out what colour hair to order from Dollyhair!

Has anyone ordered hair for a Gypsy before that's been a match? Looking at the website I was thinking Nectarine or Jack o Lantern but I'd rather not waste money ordering hair that isn't right given how expensive shipping is!

I also had a look at Retrodolls but their colours are more limited and there's nothing that seems even close, so Dollyhair is my best bet I think

That's great, thanks! I forgot about that website.

However it says that Firebird is the same as Paradise's hair - which if it is is different to Gypsy's...I think. I'll go check now.

I have found a buzz cut Gypsy awhile ago, and Firebird is the Dollyhair colour I was recommended here to get to rehair her. I took forever to actually order the hair, so the package is currently on the way - if it isn't urgent for you, I can take a picture with the hank and what's left of my Gypsy's hair once my order arrives (though mine has really short hair all over, so I'm not sure if one could 100% confirm a perfect match based on that).

I have found a buzz cut Gypsy awhile ago, and Firebird is the Dollyhair colour I was recommended here to get to rehair her. I took forever to actually order the hair, so the package is currently on the way - if it isn't urgent for you, I can take a picture with the hank and what's left of my Gypsy's hair once my order arrives (though mine has really short hair all over, so I'm not sure if one could 100% confirm a perfect match based on that).

That would be great! I'm in no rush. The one I'm getting has a section missing in the middle so it needs to be as close a match as possible. The other solution would be to use the tail to rehair the mane and replace the tail with Dollyhair as the difference will be less noticeable.

Edit: if Firebird is also a match for Paradise then I can confirm that Firebird is a little bit too dark for Gypsy. Her hair colour is somewhere in between Firebird and the colour used for Pina Colada’s orange stripe at the front.

Maybe I’ll get both and use one or the other or do a blend of two.

I figured it wouldn't hurt to show. My Gypsy had a mohawk when I got her years ago and someone had said Firebird before I found that other site years later.

Her hair colour looks more of a cross between firebird and clockwork orange
