Regarding hard or soft...I think my mountain boys as a kid were harder plastic than the family ponies as two of them ended up with hoof cracks...Admittedly the cause of those is unknown...possibly tridden on? But it suggests the plastic didn't give.
I too have had to go and check my "Daddy" ponies against the other boys and yes there is a noticeable size difference! I've never noticed that in over 30 years lol
Wow! I had Daddy Sweet Celebrations when I was a child, and I do remember thinking how huge he was... Then again, that was compared to all the female ponies as I didn't have any other big boys, so that's no proof of anything. Also, I automatically read the topic title in Blanche Devereaux's voice and accent (she called her father Big Daddy).
I've noticed it before when I was organizing my ponies and put all the brothers/daddies together. This picture is a bit old but this is the comparison with Spanish Tex next to NC Daddies and Barnacle.visitors can't see pics , please register or login
O.o.Now I want to go line up all my boys and measure them and they're four hours away :'(
