Dollyhair match help?

I'm trying to buy hair for my first custom, what dollyhair colors would be a good match for her? I'd like her hair to match the rainbow on her wings and I've been having trouble matching the colors without seeing them in real life. If mlp hair was sold at the upcoming Pony Fair I might pick up hair there instead

Pink: Tea rose? (might be too warm) Candy Kiss? (cool pink, but probably too dark)
Yellow: Lemonade?
Green: Unlucky Clover? Spearmint?
Purple: Hyacinth? Mulberry Crush? Twilight? Luscious Lilac? Brambleberry?

Add: I think Lemonade might be a tad too dark/pigmented in comparison to your pick. But I don't see many other colours that would match, it might be a good idea to mix 2?

Look at https://www.mylittlecustoms.co.uk/NYLON_Hair/cat635041_2410614.aspx - there are all the DH colors in real life and sometimes even used on dolls so you can see them better.

Do you plan her wings to be colored like Ringlet the Rainbow Curl Pony? She has the same wing colors like your design - just a tad lighter in my opinion.

Btw did you check out RetroDolls UK for a good color? Since you are in the UK...

In case yours is darker I'd suggest

pink: Ballet Slipper Nylon (retrodolls UK)
yellow: Lemon Drop Nylon (retrodolls UK)
green: Spearmint Nylon (retrodolls UK)
purple: Brambleberry (DH) or Orchid Nylon (retrodolls UK)

I think a blend might look a little out of place if the rest of the colors are solid, but I will look into it!

In case you need colors from dollyhair (but not a whole hank) when being in the US, you might think about their half hank option. That way you can play with more colors for the same amount of money.

Had no idea they offer a half hank, I probably missed that option when I was looking at the site!
