That doesn't stop them from picking a hair colour that matches though...? Morning Glory could've had dark blue or purple hair.

As pretty as that would have been... Nooooo! Morning Glory has my favourite colour scheme ever. :P

Her color scheme is gorgeous. Wouldn't be a bad alt hair idea for a bald one.

I actually got three together in a lot from eBay: Cloud Puff, Tropical Breeze and Peach Blossom. They were $1 for all three and are in great condition except for the absence of their wings. I could not believe it when no-one else bid especially as Cloud Puff is perfect with no regrind at all. I was so excited to get them as they were the first flutters I have ever held  :)

Wingsong was my first. She had a terrible hair cut. Then I got another with a hair cut. Come to think of it I'm not sure if I actually have one of her with original hair length...

Mine was Peach Blossom.  She was my childhood flutter and her backcard pic still takes my breathe away.

I didnt have any Flutters as a kid but as an adult collector I think I got Honeysuckle or Morning Glory first! I knew them from the TV series / movie and adooooored their wings <3 super cute! Got to admit though I was a little disappointed when I first saw the actual toy... no wings of course, those chubby cheeks... hm. Didnt like them right away but ive grown into loving them over the years <3

I had wanted morning glory since seeing her in the movie as a child so she was one of the first ponies i bought as an adult. Poor girl still needs new wings though.

Another I always wanted was the dark purple haired  Lily shown in the UK comics...I should be brave and do a rehair.

I always thought Lily was those colours too. I was so confused when we found one at a carboot sale and she was pink. Took a while to realise that's who it was...

@BubbleTea - you have good taste :D Tropi Breeze is best flutter.

My first was Rosedust. I was given her and Baby Blossom (and her rocker) by an older girl who lived opposite my grandpa and whom I used to play with when I was very little. I must have only been about four or five when I was given them.

She didn't have her wings (no surprise there) but as far as I was concerned they were just magic and when I pressed the button they still moved and allowed her to fly. But the best bit was her fantastic curly white(ish) 80s style afro. She still has that afro I've never touched it. You can imagine my fascination when I later got another Rosedust from a toy/train fair who had long pink hair.

All of the rest of my flutters came from various windfall's at toy/train fairs for about 50p each (I think I got all of them in about two months) apart from Pink Dreams who I got in one of the bags during the end of line sales in the mid-90s. Her wings would've survived if I hadn't been fascinated by the fact that they would go in and out of the slots.  :yikes:
