OMGS! Posey and Tootsie look so pretty! I suddenly want Lickety-split back too!

Are these from London toy fair or somewhere else?

Edit apparently they are. Which means this is what the UK may have available this year...and when new york happens next month we may see if there is anything else overall.

My only sad feeling is no curlies.

And I actually really like what they did with Sparkler's mane (half and half.)

My guess is ten ponies (if they'd included Skyflier and Powder) either wasn't financially feasible, or wasn't feasible in terms of shelf space.  Those Target end-caps aren't that deep.  Frankly I'm stunned we are getting a 7 (or 8 if Surprise is included, which I think she will be) pony set.

Looks like Stranger Things Applejack is making her way to the UK, since she's also on display and the pics are (I think?) from the London Toy Fair.  Awesome!

Edit:  Looking at Sparkler's tail, it almost looks like she has THREE colors in her hair?  Red, purple, and a very light pink.  Or is it a trick of the light?  In any case, the red streak in the tail has upgraded my opinion of her from "Eh, Sparkler's pretty nice I guess" to "GOTTA HAVE THAT PONY."

Hmm. Should I go for broke and get all my childhood ponies back? The only two I've been excluding from my wishlist is Lickety-split and Wildflower.

about sparkler you can see that lighter purple in her mane too, makes her more interesting

I say go for it with Lickety-Split if you like her!  She looks like she'll be a good match with First Tooth Baby Lickety, who I had as a kid, so I'm pretty excited about her!

I was going through my older Basic Fun info and it appears that Surprise will be included; they previously mentioned her by name.

It also appears that this isn't actually a set of eight ponies, but rather two sets of 4 ponies.  A set of 4 earth ponies, a separate set of 4 unicorn / pegasi.  (As in, the two sets will have different DCPI numbers.)

i hope they do surprise, that is the one im really holding my breath for. i just really hope they keep her fluro yellow/green hair colour and not change it like they have on other certain BF retro's 
i mean some changes are neat like butterscotch but surprises biggest attraction imo is her surprise hair

Its about time they had different DCPI numbers. I think I just might grab Lickety. I liked her as a kid, but she was never one of my favorites.

I wish they hadn't changed Butterscotch's hair either. It makes her unique.

I don't think they will though, considering the second set Rainbows have neon yellow-green stripes in theirs.

I'm excited for Gusty and Lickety Split-  Lickety Split was one of my fav ponies as a kid- and Gusty is so pretty. They look perfect!

Well, when I say "different DCPI numbers" I mean different between the two sets.  They're the same DCPI numbers used by previous sets.

I think Basic Fun does have a flureoscent yellow hair color already, it's one of the Year 3 Rainbow pony stripes, right?  I don't have a rainbow pony in front of me right now, but I'm pretty sure they got all the hair colors right on them.

I'm really excited about all of them!   Tootsie is the one I think I'll debox.  I love her and yet I don't have her.
