I love that the UK has the Unicorn/Pegasus collection.  I’m kind of hoping that some European collections will come to the US.  I think we’re ready for some G2.

I picked up Confetti today. She is such a dazzling white. Has anyone noticed a brown residue on the stickers that come with the ponies? I thought it was flaw at first so I went back and all of the ponies with stickers had the same residue on their sticker. I assume it's the glue that Basic Fun used to hold the sticker to the package.

I would love to see the US get some of the ponies that we didn't get. Basic Fun seems to be focusing on the US line though but we can still hope.

I'm pretty sure at this stage only the US pony line 'exists' in a global Hasbro consciousness.

We've seen promo stuff here with birthflower Rose on (not sold here) and that horrible name Princess Sparkle on things over the years.

I feel like our line disappeared into dust and the fact that there is now little or no diversity between regions ponywise suggests it won't happen.

Plus the price. US sold common ponies are easier and cheaper for a Florida based organisation to obtain.

While part of me would like to see some of my childhood ponies on sale again (like Snowflake)...the other part of me is much more happy that we're getting the gaps from the eighties filled in. I don't know if this year projected will be the end or if popularity will make it continue, but if we start getting into US sets that weren't publicised here,  I won't feel as strongly about them as I do Medley and company - if that makes sense. And if we get Princesses but they have bushwoolies, US names and accessories...I will feel very conflicted.

In any case, I don't think anything from outside the US will feature. But the best idea would be to write Basic Fun and suggest it.

When I first read the message that I got from them I was kind of wondering also! I think they might have the wrong year in this message.

Fall 2019 (August/September) where we will see Posey, Lickety-Split, Cherries Jubilee and Tootsie! I feel like they need to say spring 2020 or Fall 2020? But that does not mean we will be getting any new ponies till the fall of next year then!

I have a theory they sent out some boxes which were mostly Tickles to John Lewis. When I was still in London, ours had an increasing number of Tickles and occasional additions of Confetti for a while, then randomly a few Fireflys appeared but no other from that set. I heard someone else say they'd seen Firefly but none of the others in JL too, also accompanied by Tickle and possibly Confetti. There were originally 2 Tickles and Confetti to a box, but I think they may have been sending out boxes with just combinations of these three, most of which being Tickle.

I have no other explanation for why in a month the Tickle count on the shelf in my old JL gradually increased as the Confettis went down.
