I believe they described the 2nd set of Rainbows as "Confetti, Trickles, Tickle, and Flutterbye" in the message, so maybe they just didn't mention Powder and Skyflier for the sake of brevity?

Powder and Skyflier are my favorite unicorns from that year, but if they aren't released, they aren't released . . .

Yeah, but you had a chance to buy them the first time around. We didn't.

It would be like if they made four of the Mountain Boys, left out Ice Crystal, and UK folk said, well, never mind...;)

Ok, maybe not quite like that, but you get my point...

I am more worried that the omission of Pin and Star means something more ominous. Unless what is actually going to happen is that the four they mentioned are a set and then there'll be a unicorn set with the four...but I dunno at this rate. I really thought someone in the US would've found Pin and Star by now...it's not far from September.

Someone found them two days ago at Target.  :)

Ah! Thank goodness. I was getting worried, but if you guys have them, then September is not unrealistic here. Of course, it probably won't be before I move next week :'( I was in my JL yesterday and they are still stubbornly breeding Tickle, so I will have to order them online, but still, yay :D

Thanks for that LM :D

No problem!  I was going to post about it earlier but I forgot.

She did say she asked the employees to check the back room . . . so it's possible they won't be put out on the shelves until September.  That said, of course I am dying to go to my Target and see if I can find them myself, ha ha.

Go hunt! The more they're found over there, the more likely they'll appear here. We got the first four pretty much a week or two after the US did, I think - back in mid march is when Naynie and I stumbled on them in JL in Birmingham and they were in my store here the week after. So all my hopes are selfishly pinned on this not being a fluke and that distribution to Target and distribution to the UK warehouse happen around the same time.

Also, UK people - the unipegs are now all apparently available on Amazon for £9.99 each and if you have prime it's free shipping. If you can't find them in your local toymaster or Argos, maybe an option.

I took a nostalgic farewell trip to North London the other day and checked the old TOymaster in Wood Green I used to go to, but they only had CPs so even around the London area and perimeter they're not that consistently in stores. Epsom and Sutton are still the only two places I've seen them.

Didn't someone mention the unicorn poses posing (ha) a bit of an issue when being de-molded? Maybe they couldn't nail Powder's pose...
I am a bit sad over that. Powder was one of my first ponies.  :(

Yes, I remember Clipper saying that they had quality control issues with that same mold in HQG1C.

*edit to add.  I meant the Pinwheel mold that HQG1C used for Genie.  I don’t know if there have been any issues with unicorn molds in general.

Ohhh... yes! I love the new line-up.  I hope they don't forget Powder and Skyflier.  I'd also love to see Posey and Tootsie.

I'm not really worried that they won't be able to make Powder's pose.  Modern manufacturing is kind of amazing.

Maybe unicorns just take longer, although Glory/etc seem fine.

I want CJ still, I admit ;)

It's expensive. £2 more than retail which is already £3 more than the unipegs or collectors for some reason. The US get them all for $9.99 but not here :/ I wouldn't pay £14.99, personally. I'll wait till Amazon or something.

But that is the first time I saw Starflower on a UK site. Pinwheel has been on Amazon for ages, just not in stock. But not Starflower. :)

Since nobody picked up the flutters (a shame since I feel their sparkly wings would have had them flying off the shelves) what does Basic Fun even have planned next? As far as I can remember everything at Toy Fair is out now.
