Here's another difference. Seashell and Bubbles have smaller stars then the originals.

I found Flutterbye tonight - Weeee! My Target finally has them in stock. They had Confetti and Trickles too, but no Tickle. So now I just have to wait for Starflower (a favorite of mine) and Pinwheel to be released.

Anyone know if they plan on doing sea ponies? My daughter and I have recently become smitten with them, but I do not want to buy vintage ones if they will have newer ones. Thanks!

Rumor on Facebook is that someone sold some Twinkle Eyed ponies to Basic Fun/ The Bridge Direct and that this must mean that they are looking at making that set next.  The ponies where Fizzy and Gingerbread specifically.  The person posted a screenshot of the username of the person who bought the ponies from them on eBay and it was “thebridgedirect”.

New Twinkle Eyes would be amazing! They and the Flutters are some of my favourite ponies. I wouldn't get round to buying any original vintage ones if they kept on releasing anniversary ponies! (Who am I kidding, I have two Anniversary ponies on their way to me, but still bought a FF Minty on Insta and just bid on a princess pony on eBay... I should really start listing my doubles and the G3 stuff I came across in bulk orders to free up some budget!  )
Specifically looking for G1 with pen markings similar to this (my initials - W.S.):

Were the buyers in Florida? I think that is where this company is based.

I would like a Fizzy. She was always my sister's pony ;)

A mother pony can be protective of her young just like dogs.

New TEs would be amazing! I'd get Gingerbread, Sweet Stuff, Locket, Quackers and Bright Eyes. DD would get Mimic, Sky Rocket and Gingerbread.

I hope this rumor is true.

Finally made it to Target last Friday for the first time all year.  They had several of the Pretty Parlor with Peachy, 1 Applejack and 5 Seashells.  I got Applejack and Seashell because I already had the parlor but I wish they'd had more that I'm missing.  I never had the second rainbow set as a kid so I'm REALLY wanting those.

I didn’t see a mention of what state the package was going to.

It was going to Florida. :)

In one of the other threads we were talking about how Galaxy always has coarse hair . . . If they make a new one I wonder if her hair will be silky.  I am soooo hoping so!  Galaxy was the pony I wanted so bad as a kid but once I actually got her, she was a bit of a disappointment.

My Galaxy is clearly an alien as she has silky hair, but I would expect just the first set to happen as they are the iconic ones (and cheaper to obtain for research purposes). While it would be lovely to see a shiny white Quackers (something I have never seen in person xD), I would settle for a shiny white Gingerbread instead...based on how white Confetti and Moondancer are, I am pretty sure she'd look stunning. Especially with her pink streak still pink.

Excited for the potential for twinkle eyes just because of how iconic and beloved they are. They're not something I really need though. I would just need the rarer ones, but if Galaxy is dark pink instead of light pink I'd buy her again. :)
