I'm not sure. The ones I saw in the store, the size seemed normal from what I can recall. But it's been a while. I didn't get them because I already had the ponies in question ^^;

Forgot a few others I need to get still: Cotton Candy, Butterscotch, and Blossom. Of course, at this point I might have to resort to eBay and I'm not sure how worth it going specifically for the reissues would be there.

Does Amazon not have them still over there?

You guys were ahead on most of the releases so maybe some of them not so much, but the more recent ones (Rainbow etc)?
Admittedly I tend to overlook Amazon, so I'm not sure about there. The Rainbow Ponies, I wasn't worried about having to resort to eBay. Just Cotton Candy, Butterscotch, and Blossom.

I guess it's been a lot longer since they were out over there as well, except maybe in the multipacks (do they come in the same one or different?) I just thought of it since they're all still on our Amazon in one way or another, so might be worth checking it out at least.

So this is just my impression, but . . . it seems like they are doing a better job aligning the unicorn stripe than they did last time?  (On Gusty; Sparkler doesn't have one.)  I'm just going off of eBay pics and collector pics, but so far I haven't seen any where the stripe is blended in with the rest of the mane, as sometimes happened with the Moondancer / Glory set.

Did the later Basic Fun Moondancer's have the full stripe?  Mine is blended in with the rest of her mane.  I thought all Basic Fun Moondancers were like that?

Popped into Fenwicks (UK)  just now with kiddo as a treat - she had a great school report so a toy reward for her hard work was called for... a couple Lego Dots bracelet kits and a fluffy bunny... ugh, Build-a-Bear has totally GONE so it looks like I need to travel to Basingstoke or go online to redeem her giftcards...  >_<

Anyway, I knew they had some ponies here last time, off I went for a search.

Found the Rainbows: Confetti et-al, then I decided to look through ALL the boxes... wow, right at the back I found.... the much sought-after duo:

Pinwheel and Starflower!

AND instead of paying £12.99, my receipt showed them sold at £4.50  okaaay...

The only two they had... mine at last!!

At Fenwicks, huh? Congrats Glitterball :D That's an awesome price too, albeit it smacks of clearance ><

I've seen Pinwheel in a few places but the only place I saw Starflower was in one specific Toymaster :/

And ditto AJ/BT/Seashell and Bubbles, but only in 2 specific branches.

And this is going back to last autumn, when things were more normal. No wait, I think I brought Bow Tie back with me in January.

...I really wish I was able to get down to where I was living last year right now. I am certain if the new ponies are anywhere, they're in those Toymaster stores that are out of my reach *sob*.

Checked Amazon US and.. not the most promising. The only Basic Fun reissue ponies I found there for close to the store price are among those I already have.

Eeyup. I managed to find a good listing for Cotton Candy on eBay though. Hopefully she'll still be there when next I'm free to indulge

Unsurprisingly my order for "Gusty" has been delayed as they are still trying to source the item.

Gonna leave the order there since I won't be able to go to a store till August anyway...

And watch this space.

Anyone know of the brand "Asmokids"? Are they the brand creating the 35ths for international sales?

I'm not 100% sure, but I seem to recall them having to do with France?  Maybe a distributor for France?

I think they're the French distributor. At the very start of the retros when the rainbows were the only ones available here, they were sold via those people on amazon uk and the boxes were bilingual, like those sold in France.

Edit - they stil sell on Amazon UK as well. And they seem to have preorders for some of the newest, with a release date of Sept 1st - I see CHerries Jubilee, Gusty and Heart Throb with pictures but stupid high prices even for the UK. But CJ <3.
https://www.amazon.co.uk/s?k=asmokids&ref=nb_sb_noss

Also, reading the description of this cracked me up:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/MON-PETIT-PONEY-AKMLPCHERR-Jubilee/dp/B08CH9BHMG/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=my+little+pony+cherries+jubilee&qid=1594846217&quartzVehicle=183-644&replacementKeywords=my+little+cherries+jubilee&sr=8-1

The boxes that are generally sold in the UK are American in one language, and they have a label on the bottom (mostly) saying they're distributed by KNEX and a UK address.

I can really see the glitter in Gusty's symbols in their photo, but I am so used to the plain painted version!

Aqua eyes too. Not green *tsk*

Though I have a lot of childhood nostalgia for the painty one, having grown up with my friend's and then adopted her,  I have to admit that IMO the perfect Gusty is the Scandinavian/SA Fable one with glitter and green eyes. Which one day I will own, but sadly, not yet.
