Healthy Pony's Future

As of late healthy pony has not been successful in my opinion. I see a lot of great things from doing healthy pony. The aid it has given me and others is amazing, but participating is a bit lacking.

So I do want some ideas.

I was thinking of just hosting a month at a time.
What would help you post?
Maybe it's not fun anymore, and just stop.

I would like any insight I can gain.

If you think you could host better, go for it:) i would you support you each step of the way:)

I always wanted to join but simply never got round to it. I'm not quite sure how it works at the moment, can you join anytime? I've been eyeing it several times but somehow I've always managed to miss the sign up period and I wasn't sure if one could join in late. (I know I could've asked you but yeah, sometimes getting things done is a struggle! ^^' ) In case there are others like me, maybe doing a month at a time would work better indeed! It would be easier to jump in, and you could also set some pretty small, easily achievable goals (= less intimidating?)

I think the Healthy Pony concept is brilliant, though!

I like doing it.  I just don't always remember to post every day.  But I do look at what everyone else posts and it's fun to see what everyone else is doing.  Sometimes it gives me ideas of things to try for myself.

Griffin yes you can join any time! I set a sign up date, but that's just a starting point:) I will always allow Kate and early starts:)

Pokeyonekenonie I can struggle with posting too:) daily posting g is not required, but it helps:)

I really, really enjoy a group effort of everyone working toward a goal.

Lately (and I mean no offense), it's more like a vent space and that doesn't help me be healthy. I wanna see positivity and help others achieve the goals they are struggling with... We have a trivial complaint thread for mini vents.

It's like in highschool.. it was easier to run a mile with a friend then on your own. Encouraging each other to stick with it and keep on board. That's what is great about the healthy pony threads.

And to me, if you (general you) aren't able to keep your goals.. ya gotta reflect and figure out new goals..

For instance I would love to do 1 doodle a day. Seems easy. But it ends up I have a hard time doing it. A smaller, more achievable goal might be
"Goal: fill a sketchbook up.

How: set aside 30 min every week to dedicate to only drawing with no interruptions".

Seems respectable. Small but I think obtainable.

But that said maybe healthy pony ISNT bounded by time. 3 months, 1 month. Not all goals are bounded by time. Like my fill a sketchbook goal. People come and go as they need?

I also think daily posts are too hard...

ETA: if you don't wanna host healthy pony, don't. You don't even have to host till April. If it's bringing you down, and is too hard... Just don't. I think everyone will agree we want the best for you

I've enjoyed Healthy Pony but have been completely unmotivated this round to stick with my goals. I have noticed that people (myself included) are not posting much in the thread and it brings me down a bit to see that as I feel like when we're all posting about our highs and lows we can bring each other up. As much as I love Healthy Pony I think it might be a good idea to postpone it for a few months and then try again.
