ooooh, Pokemon Camp sounds fun!!

Can't say the bird does it for me at all o.o I'm not usually one to whine about Pokemon designs (I mean I'll say if it appeals to me or not, but that's different to actually criticizing the design itself, IMO) but it feels sort of.... half-baked? idk how to word it but it feels like it needed a bit more work/tweaking... it doesn't really feel like a finished design, I guess.

Polteageist is alright. Kind of a lame name, though. And aaa, when will we see the starter evos...

Do you suppose the fish Cramorant is spitting out will be announced as a new Pokemon?  It seems odd to me that a world filled with only Pokemon would have a random fish breed that wasn't a trainable critter as well.

Also Polteageist reminds me of the dormouse from Alice in Wonderland...

I think it will be, it'd be weird for them to just draw a generic one when there's so many other fish Pokemon they could've used instead (I worded that weirdly but I mean, if it was just meant to be "random generic fish" then there's no reason for them to draw something new instead of using, idk, a Wishiwashi).

Ooh, Alcremie's different colour thing is cool! I wish they'd varied the colours a little bit more (so many yellow-ish ones o.O how about a chocolate one?) but still, that's a nice idea. Always like seeing more Pokemon with variations like that ^^

So I'm hearing a rumor that there might be an autosave feature. I hope not, autosaves are alright in some games, but certainly not in Pokemon.

It might be good for some people, but if it's in the game, it should be an optional thing imo. Imagine being one of those people who grind for a shiny starter? There were tons of complaints about how long it takes to get through the opening of Sun/Moon. But at least the game didn't save. Imagine having a huge, long, opening cutscene, and then having to go back to erase the save data every time... for a couple hundred or over a thousand times...

Thoughts on Sirfetch'd?

I like that it's an evolution and not just a Galar form of Farfetch'd.

Ooh, I like it! I'm not sure if it needed to be a whole new Pokemon though, feels like it could've just been a Galar ver. But it's nice to see them doing something with Farfetch'd at long last, always felt like that guy needs more love.

Interesting to see them revisit the idea of a Farfetch'd evo too, since the G/S proto had one (Madame). Not sure which one I like better XP

(not really a fan of the name though, it just sounds odd... doesn't roll off the tongue nicely. then again I've never liked Farfetch'd's name either, so :p)

They really spent a whole week hyping up for this? An entire week? Why? What was the point? They went through the hassle of "glitching" the site page and whatever and all we got was this? Just a single Pokemon?

This was leaked back in like May so it all felt like a waste of time. I haven't been really excited about Sword/Shield like I was with Sun/Moon so it's not like I was losing sleep over what this Pokemon was. But the way it was presented was unnecessary for what it is. Something like this "glitch" thing could be better if it was an announcement regarding the story or a major new gameplay mechanic, not a single Pokemon we already knew about. Well, maybe it could be foreshadowing something if this happens more often but my initial reaction to Sirfetch'd is "what, that's it?".

Next Friday (10/4) there will be a 24 hour "live cam" stream.

From the Pokemon site: "This is your chance to get to know the various Pokémon that make their home in this forest! You may notice things that surprise you!"

I hope this means we get to finally see the middle evolution for the starters. Note that the Sun/Moon starter evolutions were shown off October 4th as well.

If they don’t show any Eevee evolutions old or new, and say that we can have all legendary and mythical Pokemon in the game. Then no game for me.

They may not show every pokemon available in the game... Which I'm fine with

So far there has only been 19 actual new pokemon shown, and 3 regional forms
There are too many of past pokemon for me to count but we all know it's possible for them to patch in pokemon later if they choose to.

As for the starters, I'm already pretty sure I might be going with Scorbunny... Grookey is cute but I know for heck of a fact that it's going to be the Emboar of this generation as far as looks go... to me at least... which is a big no thank you. The only way I'll go with Sobble is if it's final evo looks way better than what Scorbunny will be.

I'm trying to take most leaks with a grain of salt, but at least one of them has been correct so far so with a lot of things...
