Sunfading Greek ponies
« on: March 13, 2019, 04:30:33 PM »
Hello,

I have a Greek Baby Elsi and Bowtie both who are rather yellowed. I have another Bowtie who is more white so I thought sunfading might help.   Has anyone ever tried sunfading to see if it will help?  Also Elsi almost always appears yellowed.  Does anyone know what her true color is?  Thanks!

I did sunfade an adult Elsi and as far as I remember, when the yellowing vanished, she became a lovely light blue. It was in the harsh summer sun in the south of France and the pony got no sun damage whatsoever.

Awesome good to know!  I went ahead and started sunfading an adult Elsi with some marker on her feet as a test.  It seems to be working.  I am going to go ahead and put the babies in the window too!  Thank you!
