Ah drawing from reference, sometimes the pony magic is with me, and sometimes it isn't.  I've never drawn a G1 baby before.

I'm super happy with last night's effort but tonight, i couldn't get the first two lines to come together right on a Buttons pose adult.  When it's just not happening, it's just not.  Sigh.

I guess i will try to get my recent thrift finds together for a brag post pic in the sunshine tomorrow, and try to draw again later.  I'm so happy to share with such supportive pony people.

I find it pretty hard to draw the toys from reference, cartoon ponies are so much easier! Sometimes it helps if you change the angle. Good luck, looking forward to your next one!
