Hi,
I just recently started collecting G1 My Little Ponies in December. I used to love them as a child in the 80s, but after collecting nearly all the play sets and about 200 ponies, I lost all of them in a house move in the early 90s  I often thought about starting again with my collection, but I never had the heart... that is until now.
I changed my mind because my 2yo daughter is already showing signs of loving to collect her favourite toys and her enthusiasm has reminded me of how much I miss my childhood toys.

Because I rarely had new ponies as a child I now love buying tatty old BAIT ponies and restoring them as best I can. It’s turning out to more involved than I expected so one of my Instagram followers suggested I join this forum because there is such a wealth of knowledge and experience here... hopefully one day I’ll be able to add to it

Many collectors here have similar experiences of their childhood collections getting lost, donated or sold I hope you and your daughter are able to build a beautiful collection that you can share together.
