ID this baby cat?

I got this little cat in a charity shop when I was very young (so, late '90s in England). I've never seen another one like her, and I wondered if anyone here knows who/what she is. She has a vinyl head and a cloth body with beans in it. Her sleepsuit opens at the back to reveal a strange purple tail and the words "it's a girl!".

Oh wow thanks for the ID :)
I thought she was a bit similar to a Kitty Surprise baby but I didn't think they ever made any with clothes.

She was one that you could buy separately from the mommy with babies sets.  They were basically mystery babies (the mystery being is it a boy or a girl) you could add to your mommy's litter.  I used to have one.
