I've never been a fan of long hair on ponies. I agree to just tuck it under the body.

Same.  I don't really "do" anything with long hair, I just try to keep it out of the way as best I can.  I had a Brush 'n Grow as a kid (Bouquet) and her hair was a real trial to me.  I disliked it, to be honest.
