What would you do?
« on: January 05, 2019, 06:00:27 AM »
Many of us have pony rooms. Many of us played with ponies as a kid.

I live playing with ponies, and college t them too. Would you let me come and play with your ponies? Would I have restrictions like gloves or sit quietly as choir of pony Angel's sing...hehe.

This is all in fun. So if I cam to your house as a very understanding collector what would I get to do in your pony room?

If you came to my pony room, be ready to play because all of the toys and play sets come out! Our baddies would cause problems maybe they battle or must be cleansed by the fountain of conditioner hehehe. In my pony room all collectors can play:)

I am on my way to your pony room:)

If you could find space and build me a pony room, you can play with whoever you like (aside the MIP and the flutters, for obvious reasons of delicate parts xD). I wish I had space to display my ponies. They come out occasionally in small numbers to be cleaned or groomed or styled or just because I feel nostalgic. I don't play with my ponies, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't let someone else so long as they treated them gently and didn't mess with factory curl.

All right I am bringing some tools and building you a pony room. I feel you on the ponies in hiding. I had to store mine as I am in an apartment. I will drool over flutter wings:) but promise to carry a hanky to catch it all...haha.

If you could find space to help me organize, have at. My pony room is very cramped. Most of my ponies are in played with condition and meant to be handled. If I have in-box ponies, there is also a loose double for touching.

I would totally organize a pony room!!!! What fun. Can you imagine the conversations. Tex can't go on this shelf...him and Starburst had a fight over who would rule the shelf kingdom...Tex did not win. Did you hear 4-speed is teaching the twins how to fix pinkie pie party cannon? Oh the gossip as you put families together.

Really these full cramped rooms makes me feel all warm as I am surrounded by ponies and love...and turn out the lights and the best ghost stores happen as all these eyes fall on to you.

Oooh this is fun. I don't have a pony room. all my ponies are on shelves around my room, and on top of my wardrobe and any  other available shelf space i can find! You can play with what ever ponies you like, i don't mind. I usually have hair brush days with my ponies. If you have Dream Castle please bring that ,along with pretty grooming parlour and show stable!

I don't have a pony room, so my ponies mostly live in a display cabinet or on shelves throughout the house. I'd love to play with your Dream Castle too.
The only ponies I would require gloves for is my custom Marius as his basic color is black and even as little as I've handled him, he does show fingerprints.

Please build me a closet where my fading pink ponies can live I won't end up with another pony accidently faded to white hair.

You want to come and help dust my ponies? There are only another 200 left to dust.
Fellow collectors I'd be fine with handling my ponies but would probably prefer that certain customs weren't handled too much.  I don't really even handle them often.    Pretty much everything else you'd be welcome to look at or pick up and brush or play with.

I don't like letting little ones into my pony room.  I didn't mind before but I had one written on plus they'd want ponies and I'm sorry but they aren't for you to take home.  I feel bad then that they came in to see this "wonderland" thinking they can take some home but have to leave empty handed.  So... no more kids in unless they of an age that they understand that they can come look but the ponies ALL stay.

I personally tend to just go into my pony room and stare. Or move things like 1/2 to the left
It has a bunch of fun colorful lights and a giant "lovesac" (aka memory foam 'bean' bag chair) I primarily go in there for a specific sensory vibe to unwind.

But a trusted pony loving guest would be welcome to come and play with any of my non-super-precious ponies. I have a small few ponies who I'd be tentative to let folks handle, but the majority of them are common and just sitting on a shelf so I'd appreciate someone putting some life back into them. I mostly just like to look.

Though we'd have to strike a deal that if their mane's got too messed up in play that we'd have to work together on their spa day. Teamwork!
Back after at least 4 years away!

My pony room is more or less my bedroom, specifically two shelves in there. I’d like an official room to display everything nicely (my poor G4’s are in the basement, hiding!) but don’t have the space. Perhaps when I move out, or invade my sisters room. She doesn’t need it, does she?
A fellow collector coming to visit? Heck yeah we can play with them! The only person I get to play ponies with is my youngest sister. Great times, but can be a bit repetitive or lacking in the adventure I enjoy. Heck, if any of you are coming, bring some of your own ponies so we can have a massive party or something. Pony RPG sleepover bonanza anybody?
This. Sentence. Is. False! Dontthinkaboutitdontthinkaboutit.

None of my ponies are too fragile to be handled by a fellow collector, I only buy robust/not in perfect condition ponies so that I can play with them :).
My main way of playing ponies is setting them up for photos, so we could pack a bag of ponies and tiny accessories and take them outside for adventures and photos! We could set them up having a picnic or camping!
If you wanted to bring any playsets I don't have (i.e. everything except the Nursery and the Kitchen!) for photography purposes, that would be awesome too! And bring some of your ponies to meet mine. They might strike up friendships and end up being pen pals .
Then of course it would be time to brush everyone's hair and put them back on their shelves, and relax by reading pony annuals and comics :).
My ponies live on a display with my dolls and beanies, so they might join in the fun too!

Oh my gosh I wish we all were neighbors!! I would love to play the MLP RPG game!!! Oh the stories I would create for adventures...to very able to see beautiful ponies I would so dust and spa day!!!!

I do agree with no kids or supervision. I about lost my dream castle to kids unsupervised and parents telling me it's only a toy...blah.

I love playing with ponies:)
