How to un-dent G3 packaging?

I got some lovely NIB G3s for Christmas but some of them got dented in the mail. Fancy hair pony Precious Gem, for example, got a dent where a corner of her gem-shaped package got punched inward. If I can't fix it from the outside with my bare hands, will I have to untape it and go in with my fingers?

I know it may not be a perfect suggestion but since there are no other replies I figured it wouldn't hurt to try to help: have you tried creating some vacuum around the dent using an empty syringe, plasticine, plastic containers and things like that?

I normally try duct tape for that stuff. Stick it in the dent and slowly pull until it hopefully pops out.

try a suction cup maybe? like the ones at the dollar stores with swivel hooks on them.

It's generally not on there long enough to leave the residue since you're just using it to grip the surface and pull. But rubbing alcohol would take off new duct tape residue. If it sits goo gone.
