MSC & humidity levels?
« on: December 23, 2018, 05:42:13 PM »
Hey guys! I just started doing my own bjd faceups (8 years later! lol) but I live in a notoriously very humid place. Like right now it's "dry winter time" and it's still around 85% humidity this week.   I was just wondering what the ideal humidity range is for spraying msc since I can't seem to find a definitive answer anywhere? And if it's still too humid in my area, what can I do/use to still get good results with msc? Spraying  indoors is absolutely not an option as I'm in an apartment with small pets and severe asthma.  :drunk:

Is there a place near by like a maker space or a school that you can use a spray booth?

Otherwise maybe you can look for a hobby indoor spray booth set up, and get a dehumidifier for your space?

Or even make your own...
https://makezine.com/2015/08/08/build-an-easy-and-cheap-tabletop-spray-booth/

And this won't really help you with where to spray, but here is a youtube video on the topic: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uJnQzIbyUx8

ETA: I'm reading it shouldn't be over 60% for MSC, and that it is probably written on the can?
