G2 playsets - how rare are they?
« on: November 14, 2018, 11:14:29 AM »
The following playsets, how rare are they? I haven't seen them for sale in ages
- Royal Castle with Princess Sweet Berry (2000)
- Wedding Carriage with Princess Sky Skimmer and Baby Fleur (2000)

If incomplete, how difficult is it to complete the set and what does it deduct in respect to the value?

I hope the G2-experts among you can give their opinion :)

Not very helpful, but I don't think either of those were released in Canada.  So up here at least, 'pretty darn rare'.  Obviously more common in the European countries that had more prolific G2 releases.  I haven't seen either come up for sale often though.

Agreed with Baby Sugarberry, in Europe you have a much better chance of finding them since most G2 playsets were not released in North America. But even then they don’t seem to come up for sale very often.

Eh, now I really regret selling all my G2 stuff a few years back.  I had all that stuff, since at the time I had a few contacts overseas that I could get things from. ;)

The sets are cute, so I'm not sure if they aren't out because people cherish them so much or if they got into the hands of kids and are no longer "together."  I did kinda like the mini piggy pony look to the G2s, especially the babies.  That said, I haven't seen much of them lately, either.
Thanks to Whippetluv for my awsome persona pony!!
