Are U tempted?

How many out there when you are shopping for swap parters or gifts are tempted to buy a few ponies that on your wishlist when come across or buy a pony for swap partner and fall in love pony which you never thought you orginal like?

I know with myself I have be guilty of both... I have bought ponies over year for swap partners and oddly fell love with a pony and end up put on my wishlist or if  I able find another for swap partners  keep one the ponies.
I have be sooo tempted lately when shop for swap partners snag few ponies myself. I guess one can say I have pony fever!

I'm not in the swap, but Christmas shopping is always hard.  I'm constantly tempted.

I found some of my partner's ponies in an eBay lot...I've got a bunch of ponies I never had my eye on before now, lol.

I;ve never participated in a swap...so I am generally tempted just by looking at stuff on ebay. But I've been really good since the summer because my money is tight this year. Aside ponycon and the odd retro from the store I've really not spent anything on ponies in ages. Mostly food, transport and research materials...sigh

Yeah, I've bought ponies on my swap wishlist before only to get them in my swap box... so now I've learned to be strict with myself to wait.

  Yes every time ... I actually prefer shopping for a swap partner than myself now. Last year a little G4 snuck her way into my collection because I was getting this particular one for my swap partner & I fell in love once she arrived (luckily I had already found 2 at once  ).... I don't even collect G4!

I live so far away from, well everyone, that I have never participated in a swap but oh I would be but SO tempted. Ponies entering my house tend to stay there. So it would be hard, very very hard.

Super tempted to shop for myself when swapping, yes! Although I try to keep in mind it would be sad if I ended up getting that same pony in the swap, so I generally manage to not shop for me.
One of my current swaps I plan on shopping some things along with swap gifts, though, but only because I need to pick up some stuff where they have my planned swap gifts xD + it's nothing that went on my wishlists, so I should be safe

Twirly Treats  (just had to look up her name again  ) Think I fell for her because she is a baby? I tend to like babies/smaller ponies more. Actually had to force myself to stop looking at the babies & go adult hunting last year, as I had hardly any adults....

I really wanted to do a swap, because they are so much fun...I just don't have too much of an active want list right now.

I guess I'm just in the stage of life that if I want something I buy it for myself.  So shopping for partners is the fun for me, beyond being tempted to get more for myself.  Besides, I know I'm getting a box of goodies myself, so that is part of the excitement.

I haven't necessarily been tempted to keep something I bought for my partner... but ooooh boy have I been tempted to buy stuff for myself during the swap that I could potentially get from my partner had to keep reminding myself "noooo your partner might get that for you!"
