I've had this particular bit of horsing around planned for a few years, and had what I needed for the original plan since last year. And by the time I finally got to it Power of the Primes Elita had come out; after getting her I was inspired to tweak the idea a bit to include her.

Ratbat, Arcee and Misfire are very pink.
Well, magenta at any rate for Ratbat and Misfire. Arcee is indeed very pink and out-and-out pink, but got relegated to being a Big Bad Toy Store exclusive (they're an online retailer). Elita should have been just as pink as Arcee or even pinker, but instead...

Yes, but it's a reddish-purplish pink so I guess they thought it was "manly" enough. That and those two have eighties toys Hasbro can point to. Now I think about it they might also have been trying to "compensate" for Elita being a girl *rolls eyes* It sadly wouldn't surprise me.
