Secret surprise ponies

Greetings. I just received my first Secret Surprise pony with an intact saddle. The only trouble is, I can't figure out how to open it. She didn't come with a key and I don't want to assault her

I'd use a paperclip..insert it into the notch and turn it like you would the key..

Or a fingernail, if you have long enough ones. That works too.

One of mine has a looseish clip and I can actually work it open by gently manipulating the cape but I don't want you to damage your pony if that's not the case. Sometimes the spring mechanism gets a bit worn though and they don't open as readily as they ought to...

A basic slot-head screwdriver of the appropriate thickness works too.
I don't use the keys even though I have them because they're rather fragile.  Sometimes you can also open SSP's simply by bumping the saddle to the side. Depends on how worn out they are.

Just be careful as some "pop" when they open and the saddle goes flying off
