A Golden Girls cereal box would be cool to own, but only if it were actually from the 80s.

I saw someone buy the Rice Crispies box that the Christmas Stocking Baby Pony came from at a pony fair -- I think they paid $15 or $20? And that was just for the box. I would probably pay that much or more for that particular box, honestly. I'm not into Funko re-creations, though. Unless they make Funko Pops of G1 ponies -- I would consider getting those. :/

I also know a lot of people in the gaming community have boxes of Mario cereal that still have the cereal in them, but I don't care about that personally so I have no idea how much those go for.

Oh my, the things we'll market now-a-days... I haven't saw this cereal in person, but I will search for it the next time I'm out and about....

I can kind of understand people paying for a box that is 20+ years old because few probably survive. $10-$20 is also not that bad. I have paid that or more for backcards and packages if it has been especially rare (like Baby CJ's card, that was around that price I think).

Stuff in stores now seems like more of a fad. And you know, I just had a fun conversation with my first year students yesterday about the advantages of storing money vs food objects. Stored cereal in unopened packages doesn't sound very great to me going forward. Unless the plan is to open it, eat the cereal, keep the box and figure...

In any case, those prices are mad.
