Also, speaking of colour, how do you guys spell that word over there? I notice the box says color but I was under the impression Australia and NZ used the u spelling? Am I wrong?
I liked the packaging until I saw the words 'cutie mark'...Is that written on the other boxes? If so, why have I not noticed it??It is a nice colour scheme though. Also, speaking of colour, how do you guys spell that word over there? WOW, I don't know what I was expecting, but I wasn't expecting something that dramatically different! I dig it, though--very striking! So interesting that they used the later G1 logo.A shame it's 4 out of 6, but that's better than 0 out of 6 I guess . . . Interesting that Sunlight got left out of the 5-pack, yet here she is.Would you mind if I shared these pictures on Tumblr, with a link back here?
Nice, congrats on getting them, thanks for sharing! I'd seen on FB to watch for these in Cotton On, I didn't realise it was the kids store and when I asked staff they looked at me like I was crazy (and sent me to Typo, another crazy dead end). I've put them on my X-Mas wishlist so we'll see if I get them, I'm not entirely sold on the retro rainbow ponies.
Thanks!Actually the single-language English language rainbow pony boxes do have the same line about cutie marks. In fact they have the exact same text, even down to where the line breaks are. Which probably explains "color" instead of "colour" (because they used the text from the US box). The bi-lingual box doesn't have the cutie mark thing, it only has the first sentence of the blurb.
