Nastiest Candy Known to Humanity

There aren't many candies I think are nasty, but the "dare you to eat it" type candies get my vote.  Bean Boozled are the worst.   

YwH, Bean Boozled is pretty bad.  I mean, there's literally a vomit flavored one.  And spoiled milk.  And people buy them.  O__o
 I guess I could see that kind of thing being popular with 12 year olds (who tend to like "gross out" things) or maybe drunk college students??  Maybe??

Can you imagine having to taste test those as your job, though?  Yikes.

I had to look up Bean Boozled as I didn't really know what they were. I've always thought Bertie Bots were groos but now that I know about Bean Boozled I think they're worse.

I think they're the same company as the one that puts out Bertie Botts Every Flavor Bean.  I think they're some of the same flavors, but they needed a new way to market them after all the Harry Potter movies were done.

The weird thing about Bertie Botts Every Flavor Beans--the real ones, not the fictional ones--is they ONLY had the weird flavors. (Like grass, vomit, etc.)  Whereas in the books they had weird AND normal flavors.

I guess in that sense "Bean Boozled" is a little closer to HP than the actual Bertie Botts ones?  Since it has some bad and some good.

You can pretty much tell what's what by the color.
Some of the flavors are the same as in Beanboozled, which is a challenge game with regular and gross flavors that look the same and you're supposed to spin a wheel that chooses a color and you take a chance at getting one or the other. Here's it's page

I'm pretty sure Bertie Bott's came first.

Side note: The Jelly Belly factory is somewhat close to where I live. I went there a few years ago and it's really fun to see how they're made.  They were also making Sunkist orange fruit slices candy the day I went, pretty cool. I'm not much a fan weird flavors of jelly beans though, lol. I've never played Beanboozled, and never will  but I have tried Bertie Bots years ago. I distinctly still remember the pepper flavor the most.

Bean Boozled has come out with an additional boardgame as well, with minions! We're getting it to our store! So you get to walk a minion as well as spin the wheel and eat jellys you won't know taste good or bad. They have new flavours as well including minion farts Not gonna play it but still kinda want to.

I chose black licorice. I love red but hate black. I haven’t tried Necco wafers, so I can’t judge them

Necco wafers are pretty gross.

That said, I actually like the chalky valentines heart candies.

I second the candy hearts, it tastes like sweetened chalk.  I'd also add in candy corn. It tasted great when I was little, but it just tastes like disappointment now.

Hard choice between Necco wafers and Peeps (worlds most over processed marshmellos). This list also needed Cirucs Peanuts I loved them as a kid, I don't know why I liked them because they are super gross!

I can't stand black licorice of black jelly beans.  It's by no means a color thing just the flavor is terrible.

I second circus peanuts.  I've never had them before but before Benny's closed I bought some because they looked really good but they're really not.

My dad seemed to like them? Perhaps it had to do with growing up in the depression or maybe he was an odd duck. I liked them as a kid but I certainly grew out of it!

Haha please do, I'm curious now what's left that's not on your nasty list. Dark chocolate?  I'm not saying being picky about candy is a bad thing, though. It would be so much easier without all the temptations!

My Popop (Grandpa) really liked them. I could never figure out why because they grossed me out.
