The Halloween Coloring Contest is back! Once again the Arena wants its members to show off their coloring skills. This year we have a simplified setup, and everyone can enter!

You can use any medium you like to color your work – traditional, digital, even mixed media. The only rules: no Hasbro ponies, and no altering the line art please. We are offering separate bases for earth, unicorn, pegasus, and alicorn ponies so you can choose whichever pony type fits your idea best.

If you need a different file format, please PM ColoringContest with your email address and it can be emailed to you. We have psd files for those who wish to use Photoshop!

Divisions

Division 1: For all our active members, old and new!
Division 2: Members' Kids, this section is for our members' children who are 13 and under.

Please read the directions carefully:

* You must be an active Arena member to enter. By active we mean that you have recent posts and are not here only for the contest. Active newbies are welcome to enter, of course!

* All entries are to be PMed to ColoringContest. If you have issues hosting your photos privately, entries can also be emailed – please PM the contest account for instructions.
* The title of your message MUST state which division your entry is for.
* You may enter up to two entries, but each must be submitted separately or they will not be accepted.
* Do not upload your entry online for public view till after the winners are announced. This is to make sure that all entries stay anonymous for judging. After the judging you are free to start a thread to show off your work, or post it to any other websites you like.

Deadline

Contest starts NOW! So get busy!

All entries are due by November 1st, 8 a.m. EST.

Judging

The winners of the competition will be chosen by YOU the members! Keep an eye out for a voting thread after the deadline. The entries will be posted anonymously and all Arena members are eligible to vote.

Prizes!

1st place and runner-up in each Division will get to choose one prize from the following wonderful goodies:

G4 Sweetie Drops MOC donated by Griffin
Art commission slot donated by Bekuno: Digital piece (2 ponies max) OR 2 ATCs (traditional)
Simple custom pony commission slot donated by aintnobuffalo
G3 Diary with pen donated by Griffin
G1 China Lemon Drop donated by Griffin

Just downloaded two pictures, got to wait till I get more ink for my printer so that I can print and colour them.
