Ohhhhhmygooooooooobstopper! So I wound up going to one of my favorite thrift stores today, after a quick trip to the swap meet. I had nearly completed scouring the miscellaneous bags for MLP toys at the store, and was beginning to feel rather disappointed when I got near the end of the aisle. I had found a few Equestria Girls dolls and Minis, a random MLP Pop, but not so much the familiar g3 or g1 ponies that I’ve been spotting at that store the last few times I’ve been there. But just when I was about to give up- lo and behold- I stumbled across the motherload of jackpots! I found a bag with not 1, but 4 g1 My Little Ponies! I couldn’t even believe it!!! I found Twice as Fancy Dancing Butterflies, Beddy Bye-Eyed Baby Lofty and Baby Half Note (BBE’s have always freaked me out. maybe I’ll put blindfolds over those cold, dead, fish eyes), and Newborn Twins Rattles/ Tattles! They came with a Little Pretty Rosebud, from Mattel. Dunno what I’ll do with her, after giving them all a spa day.

Oh yay!  I'm so glad when ponies in the wild are discovered by a collector who will truly appreciated them!  Awesome finds, congrats :)

Ooohhhh! You hit a gold mine! I’m sure they’d apreciate a bath. (And yeah. BBE eyes are kinda creepy. Why do you think all mine look away from me?)

And BBE are fine. It's when you see one with the eyes removed that you know true soulless evil....

You've got some cuties there - mind you keep the BBE's out of the water (surface wash only on those gals) and avoid pressing on their eyes too hard. The tiny plastic pins that allow the eyes to pivot break pretty easily.

Congratulations on your funds! Oddly enough I can barley tolerate sleep eyes on 18 inch dolls but not ponies.

Stuck sleep eyes are a thing of nightmares.
