I said TV but I will pay to see really good movies (SW franchise for example) on the big screen. I  usually go to the movies about 1-2 times a year so I'm mostly a TV fan :D

It's easiest to cuddle with someone if you watch on a TV. The only down side (or up side to some) is that it's also easier to fall asleep.

My TV because I can get better-closed captioning and I don't need to wear those ridiculous CC glasses. Plus there might be a movie I can't watch in the theater because of flashing lights. I can watch it at home during the day, with every light on in the room. No missing out on the blockbuster fun.

Plus the snacks are way cheaper, intermission is whenever you want, and the seats are way comfier. That aside, it's expensive to go so I usually save it for my birthday or one of the big summer blockbusters.

It depends.

For a lot of movies, I *love* the big screen experience.  I love going to see the big movies on the biggest, best screen I can find when they first come out.  And with all those limited releases of old movies they've been doing lately, I *really* love going to see some of my old favorites on the big screen again(I get to see Jurassic Park next week!).

However, I don't like seeing horror movies on the big screen unless I've seen them before.  Modern horror movies can be a bit too much, and I don't want any nasty surprises.

I also like watching movies at home.  I have a pretty big DVD/Bluray collection.  I do have Netflix, but it has surprisingly made me want to buy disks even more.  I get used to watching my favorite stuff on demand, and then suddenly they do another purge and I just lost X-Files or something.

I don't watch many movies these days, but I definitely prefer the comfort of my own home and television.

It's cheaper, more cozy, and I don't have to worry about a kid (or an adult...) talking loudly through the climax of the movie which has happened with 3 out of 4 of the most recent movies that I've seen at the cinema. It just spoils the whole experience, especially since it's so darn distracting.

I usually watch movies through my DVD or blu Ray (depending on which room I'm watching it in) or DVR or Netflix. I very rarely go to the theater. Most movies I don't want to pay the ticket price for. Infinity War was the last one I saw in a theater and before that I can't even remember what the movie was (that's how long ago it was lol).

I'm a big fan of watching movies on my own tv. Haven't been to a theater in more than a year. Hubby and I have quite the DVD collection. I love grabbing movies on VHS that you don't find on DVD from the 70's-80's.

I don't own a TV so I watch all movies on my laptop. I love to be able to watch a movie in the comfort of my own home in my jammies. Plus I like having subtitles on and I can always pause it when I want to get a snack!  Total win all around!

Ahhh VHS, I no longer have a player but I'm always on the lookout for tapes. Anyone here old enough to remember watching E.T. on VHS when it was brand new? That was quite the thing, we had to go to my godparent's house so I could watch it. As we didn't open a tape player or even a TV that would have supported one.

I'm not quite that old but my family does have it on VHS!
