One vote for the Lofty pose and it's me  :|

Sure she looks slightly sedated from some angles but still so pretty

I have to say, I'm not a big fan of any of the Pegasus poses in G1. I don't know why but none of them are particularly "outstanding" to me (Like Bunnyhop or Mimic's pose was for me in the last two polls). I picked Whizzer's pose though since it seems to be the only pose who took advantage of the whole Pegasus idea. She's the only one who really looks like she's flying. North Star's pose is a close second though since I can kind of see it like she's floating in air, but the eyes are weirdly small. I don't like how Firefly's pose is proportioned, Locket's pose to me always looks like she's imploding on herself, and I always forget Surprise's pose exists XD

I actually like all of the pegasus poses except I'm not keen on the moulded hoof on the Firefly pose. So that would be my least favourite, although I do quite like the wings on that pose and it isn't that I find it off-putting to the extent of not wanting the ponies. I never really imagined as a kid that Firefly and Medley would be in that pose because the only pony I had ever seen in that mould was Sprinkles and child me kind of assumed she had a special pose because no other pegasus ponies sold here used it (discounting the adjusted one for Peppermint Crunch but I never saw her as a kid).

I like all the other pegasus poses. I never had a tiptoe pony as a kid, but when we were carbooting I had a hazy memory of seeing Wind Whistler at school and knowing that she was somehow different from the other pegasus ponies I had seen.

I didn't have many pegasus ponies as a child, come to think of it. Masquerade, Dancing Butterflies, Rainbow Magic...all of whom have different poses. But I also had Braided Beauty who had Masky's pose and my friend had Locket (who I now own) and I saw North Star at school too, so I knew that those poses got duplicated. I felt like they all gave the different characters personality. Dancing Butterflies did look like a ballerina to me. Rainbow Magic looked kind of dreamy and wish-granty. And Masquerade looked no-nonsense and like she was ready for action. Her pose is kind of chunky and strange, but because I had Masky really early on, I guess I grew fond of it. Like Cherries Jubilee.

I was really really aware of poses from a really early age for some reason o.o.

In the poll I voted for Surprise's pose because, overall, that one just shades it for me (now having many more ponies in each pose to compare). But I actually love all of them.

What about Starshine? She's the one I immediately think of in that pose.

Oh, I forgot about her and Skydancer. You're right. And I would have seen her at school too, I think. For some reason I didn't register that with Sprinkles growing up.

Firefly and Glory are my two absolute favorite poses ever, probably due to nostalgia, with Whizzer a close second for pegasus poses. I mainly want the 35th anniversary pegasi because I hear they made the lifted hoof the right shape and/or size. That pose just looks so happy, and perfect for a daring pegasus like Firefly. I have all but  Peppermint Crunch and Medley in that pose, though my sister has Medley.

I know a lot of people dislike the Medley/Firefly pose but I really like it! The pony looks like she could fly away into the sky at any moment. The pony looks so happy too.  :frolic:  The shy pose (Surprise) is a close second.
