I can't decide which one to keep and which one to sell!

The one on the right has beautiful unfaded hair.  The one on the left has the better body but her hair is not only faded but it's faded in a weird way.  One patch in the middle of her tail is faded all the way white but the end of her tail is less faded?  its weird.

I would keep the one on the left Her nicer body would win me over. Her symbols and hair have a nice contrast and her colors look better together, they look less murky too. The one on the right is unevenly discolored as well, plus her eyes are a different color. Overall, I would say the one on the left is in better condition. She is also closer to what Love Melody would have looked like straight from the package, which is at least important to me.

Repinking hair is easier than un-yellowing ponies.

She was probably sitting in a window where the bottom of her tail was against the sash and wasn't getting full sunlight.

I'd keep the left! I think her weird fading is charming.

I agree! I'd keep the one on the left because her body is just gorgeous, which is far more attractive than the discolored one on the right. Despite the odd hair fading. As flutterscotch suggested, you could try re-pinking that one maybe? Thought it might be hard to get it even since she is faded unevenly.

I'd just fade her the rest of the way and start from scratch.

Alright, y’all have convinced me.  I’ll keep the one on th left.  I’ve never repinked hair before.  Any suggestions on how to do that?

Its up to the you but I say the left one. You could always repink or rehair. You can't rebody.

I use fabric rit dye petal pink with a drop of tangerine orange mixed in. Works like a charm.

I would cannibalize the unfaded tail for the pony on the left, repink the mane to match, and keep the one on the right for... *steeples fingers* experiments.

Same, but I'm working off of decades-old powder stock, so "Rose Pink" and "Sunshine Orange" in my case. I've also seen amazing results from dye-based liquid watercolors like this.

Whatever you use, you only need a tiny little bit dissolved in water. Test your shade with scrap of paper towel, and when you're happy with the color, brush it onto the pony's hair (I use an old toothbrush) being careful not to get it on her ears and neck too much. (Ponies' hair is much "thirstier" for dye than their bodies, so you don't have to panic if you do have a dribble, just wipe it off.) Give her a rinse, et voilà! And if you accidentally get it too dark, just fade it out again.
