I wanted to add that I once had about six Majestys in my trade box (back when G1s were fairly common second hand) and they all had slightly different eye colors ranging from lilac to blue.  In addition, I had a Majesty with one blue eye and one purple eye!  So the eye variation boils down to quality control issues and batch variations, I think.

Great picture of how far apart the plugs can be in Majesty's mane (especially the 'lower' row), most of the ones I had looked like that.  And they all had the receding hairline.

Wow! I see what people mean when they say receding mane!

Mine is definitely a playset Majesty as I got her from new.

Purple eyed, full maned and from Hong Kong.

Those with China ponies, is there a PAT PEND stamp on the hoof?  I'm curious :)

Your wish is my command ;) Yes there is:

This makes me wonder where my Majesty came from. Full mane, purple eyes, and I got her as a kid about 15 years ago probably from an antique store or the like.

Unfortunately the pony in question is packed away so I only have the pictures on my site of her at present. But if wizzer has one too she might get better images of things like eyes and symbols if you needed them for comparison. She doesn't seem to come up often but I guess a lot fly under the radar. Naynie's does look like the symbol is more dense but it might be just the rust...

It looks as though the hoof is just altered with the CHINA scraped into the plastic somehow, the other looks the same as the HK so unchanged.
