POTD 8/24/18 Majesty

I had her in the past but never a very white one.

Can you whiten a Majesty?  Does sunfading work on her.  In my twenties i was not so smart about storage, and hid my ponies in the attic.  After a couple hot Georgia summers, my white Majesty's head was brown.

love this girl, i thought she was a myth, made up pony in the books i had as i never saw her or the castle in shops here in NZ in the 80s, same with twilight and sunbeam. i just loved her so much in the books i had as a kid and so excited to own her now as an adult

iv always sun-faded my glory's, moondancer and majesty back to again, they just seem to go a little yellow in storage with no heat. must be an age thing now. they seem fine everytime i stick them in the sun

I have the blue eyed one. She’s quite pretty, and was the g1 that kicked off the collection. Don’t have the castle or any accessories to go with her though...
     Re unicorno...man, what a wonderful day that will be if I find him.

Yay, I love Majesty. She's just such an awesome character in the comics and annuals.
One of my favourite ponies is a very chewed-up Majesty that I rescued. I like to make up stories about how her hooves, horn and ear were damaged while she was a travelling adventurer fighting the forces of evil. She had half a horn before Tempest Shadow made it cool

Loooove Majesty.  Honestly can't remember which version of her I have, I'd have to dig her out and have a look to be sure.  I think she's really aptly named - her colours are regal and her symbol is simple yet elegant.  I like that she's royalty without a symbol screaming "I'm a princess!".  I wish I'd had Dream Castle as a child, and Majesty of course.  Childhood dream right there!

I almost have her, finally! In that she is bought and paid for but not yet with me. Would love to have Unicorno one day too. I really love Italian ponies.

I've had luck with H202 and sunfading her. Though I made the rookie mistake of not covering her eyes, so they faded to blue.


Sadly my compilation photo is lost in photobucket, but she was quite brown; I restored her for an arena contest back in 2010ish and made her a baby...

WIP!  If anyone knows how to secure her hat without elastic (or with elastic that doesn't go around her chin because of ear/hair/eye placement) I am open to suggestions!
