Are Columbians officially licensed?
« on: August 19, 2018, 01:55:49 PM »
I haven't really started collecting Columbians yet and only have one. Something just occurred to me. Have any MOC Columbians been found? Do we know for sure if they were officially licensed from Hasbro?
Nirvana grails:  Reverse Gusty (upgrade), Peru Windy and Moonstone (upgrade), Brazil TAF upgrades, Argie Powder w/ white hair (upgrade), French Windy and Moondancer (upgrades), Spain TAF's, TE's, and piggies.  These are my biggest wants, but I'm looking for tons more nirvanas, especially Greeks, Brazilians, and Peruvians.  Feel free to PM me for sales or trades.  But please note that I'm also fairly picky.

I honestly don't know the answer to this. I had a quick google but...
Best I can find is this site from the bottom of the wiki.
https://sites.google.com/site/poniesofcolombia/home
It has a pic of the nursery boxed with the company name on and one pony carded.
There also seems to be a pamphlet.
I hope this helps. :)

I remember when those images showed up :bigups: they came from the actual Kiko factory in Columbia.

I do indeed think they were made under licence, especially seeing the boxed nursery and buggy.

Wow, I had never seen those before! They do indeed look official. I even see the Hasbro logo on the card. I'd love to see that lavender Pretty Parlor! And those pony wear outfits!! That yellow one looks so interesting; I think it's a Columbian version of Abra-ca-dabra!

The pony wear is so cute!!!

The only Columbian parlour I’ve seen is blue.

I have seen those pictures posted either here or on the old arena archive. It was a long time ago though.
