So You Find a Few Boxes of MOC/MIB Warehouse Ponies...

It's dream opportunity. Some dude is clearing out an abandoned warehouse full of MOC/MIB ponies. You happen to be in the right place at the right time and get a chance to scoop them all up, dirt-cheap at that. The catch is that the boxes are sealed. You're making a blind purchase.

So. Who are you hoping is among the treasure trove?

Starshine of course, my favorite! Other than that, no specific ones. If not Starshine, I would be happy with any from sets that I like, like Rainbow Curls, years 1 through 3, tropicals, and sweetberries. The gift packs would be cool too! Oh, and Mimic and Rapunzel

Sweetheart Sisters, because finding them with those hair ties is a pain in the BUTT.

Maybe the boys? That'd be neat. People like the boys.

I really wouldn't care, but an assortment would be nice.  Maybe so-softs, since it's so dang hard to find nice ones that aren't wrecked. Or the second set of Princess Ponies since their accessories are so hard to complete.

Haha, I'd be content with anyone! But I guess the best to get would be favorites of mine, be it ones I already own loose or ones I don't have at all. Of course, if I were to find that many MOC/MIB ponies, I'd have to think of a good way to display them all!

If it's a UK warehouse, I am pretty ok with anything from the early years, up to about 1989.

But especially Windy and Ripple and the three Mountain Boys I had as a kid.

     I’d be perfectly fine with any mint in package pony! But if I had to hope someone was in there, I’d want twilight. Both so soft and regular. I love them both, and I want them for my collection, unboxed or in box. Oh! And perhaps galaxy. I have her, but a mint in package would be so cool! Where is this man with the ponies, and how do I find him?!

A white pony, boy pony, or Firefly. Whatever else they may be, I'd sell as many as I can, very slowly, and buy loose versions of any MOC ones I don't already have loose.

We never actually saw it in person (I wish we did) but we had a store in the mid 1990s in London that was like that. Hasbro UK sold all their excess stock to this store, and it was pony stuff from the really early years right up to 1994. And they had them on shelves, apparently. But my parents ordered a lot from them over the phone. Still have some of the stock lists somewhere they sent my mother.

I often wish I had been able to see that place in person...

My treasure trove would definitely include Posey and Windy in their original packages; they were my favourite ponies to play with as a child and they're my favourites in my current collection, too. I'd love to get Heart Throb, as she has eluded me for far too long now and Rainbow Magic (or Ringlet); those stars cascading from her wings make her feel really special. Oh, and Wingers, especially Flurry, Starry Wings and Cool Breeze. So my theoretical hopes aren't overly ambitious.
