In seriousness, I think it is unlikely as I think if Basic Fun is doing any googling to find out people's opinions, they'd realise that set divides people. Not worth spending the money on the mechanism design. But I also think it unlikely they will sell regular versions. I will literally stampede anyone in my way to get a regular baby Shady, as she's been a want of mine forever, but I don't see it happening.

Note to self: If you see a woman with rocket boosters heading for the retro pony section, run to the side, not the front.

I checked Target again today and only Medley was left from the unicorn/pegasus set. There were still 2 Snuzzle and a Minty but Bluebelle was gone.

Yes! I'm afraid of wanting too much, but I'd really love to see the first set of babies rereleased, mostly so that little girls could play with them.

Did they erase the sculpted shoe on Firefly's (and Medley's) bent front leg ? (I don't know what else to call that weird line around her hoof  )

I went to Target and they had restocked retro ponies but instead of it being the unicorns/pegasus set there was a full set of Collector ponies   I'm afraid they might be there for quite a while as I have all of the Collector ponies I need. There were also 3 Pretty Parlors but no Rainbows. My Target has not had Rainbows for the last few weeks.

I made a trip to Target yesterday and they finally had Cotton Candy, Moonstone and Parasol so I could finish the first two waves but no third wave ponies.  Maybe by the time I get back down there in a month or so they'll have some.

I finally found all the new ones at one Target! They put them out recently. I had checked the same Target only a week or two ago. They are so pretty! Three other Targets I checked did not have any of the new ones, but had rainbows and collectors.

I so want them all, plus the Pretty Parlour! Why can’t NZ get in on the fun? We got the 25th anniversary ponies so why not the 35th?

pony-magic. have you tried getting hold of mighty ape (they are are big supplier of pop culture and toys in NZ) or Harvey Wholesale's (a toy supplier in NZ) if they plan on getting them in.
i keep meaning to email mighty ape but keep forgetting.

That’s a brilliant idea! I didn’t think of them as I don’t buy much from them. I might email another store here in Christchurch that might also be interested.
