Animation used in the MLP commericals Upadate pg 2 I found it!

Hi,
I was looking at YouTube and found this video that someone made of the animation used in the early MLP commercials. Can anyone identify what commercial the opening animation is from that features Twilight, Bowtie, Seashell, Applejack, Firefly and Spike? I didn't realize Moondancer was animated in two commercials (Dream Castle and this one) or that Twilight was even animated in the commercials at all. Could this be animation that was made and not used?

I distinctly remember the song from an early commercial for the first unicorns, pegasi, and non-CP earth ponies, though I don't remember the images very well. I think it probably goes to the one you're talking about. I've got some animation cels from it too.

No, that commercial was for that run of ponies. It was definitely aired. It's cobbled together from several commercials, and it was the reason I didn't like the look of the cartoon as much.

This was core Flutterscotch being obsessed with ponies. I was in Kindergarten when these all aired and it was my world.

I bet you're right kellyponyfeathers. :) I don't remember that commercial but it does fit with the animation shown at the beginning. :) It must be one of the rarer commercials because I don't think I've seen it on YouTube at all.

I thought it was just a fan tribute to the animator, I didn't realize it was a real commercial that aired. That's very interesting. :)
