Congrats, Crowningglory! Hoping everything goes well with your audition!
How is everyone doing? Any goals were slacking on? I need to get better at eating healthily.

I've recovered from my back sprain and done... nothing since then. On the bright side, I haven't gotten any worse! I have a mini goal to get my apartment clean before the end of the month, so that's my focus task while I adjust my sleep and eating habits back where I want them to be.

I totally blanked on healthy pony completely.  Props to my buddy for reminding me!  Hope all is well with everyone.  I'm going to read up on how you have all been doing now...

I've been pretty bad about posting here regularly, and not great about keeping up with my goals, but one thing I do want to say is, I live for my buddy's messages.

I log in just to make sure I don't miss one. I might not reply right away, but seeing a message from my buddy makes me smile for several hours. You rock, buddy!

I'm gonna take the leap and sign up!
I need some motivation and accountability to finish the weight loss I've started and to reclaim some hobbies that have fallen to the wayside.

What are your dream goals?
- Lose ~22 more lbs/be under 20% bodyfat
- Catch up on ALL my cross stitching. Lots of starts, few finishes
- Get into a regular occurring gaming schedule/group
- Learn to speak Italian

What can you accomplish in 3 months? (I've only got 8 weeks left!)
- lose ~15lbs (at *LEAST* 10lbs)
- exercise 2-3x/week
- set up 2+ gaming dates
- finish my small stitch project, catch up on my monthly stitch along, continue on my other project.
- practice Italian at least 4 days/week

Can you handle or would like to have more than one buddy?
- one please

Hi, everyone!  Happy to see some new joiners!

I have limited data so I pretty much can only come on here from my phone and it's hard for me to post/send messages that way.  Yes, I'm old and set in my ways.  But, I've got some PC time so thought I'd pop in!

One of my goals was to be more social and I'm doing okay with that!  Actually made a new friend, today!

I've lost another pound and have held steady at that weight for about a week so, that's exciting.  Still not used to my post-pregnancy body so hoping more weight loss will help me look and feel more like me, again!

I'm even making an effort to contact my in-laws!  My MIL and SIL aren't very good about responding so that kind of sucks some of the fun out of it but I'll keep on, anyway!

Aadra great job on making a friend, and reaching out to loved ones. It's hard when there is not a lot of response. But keep trying it will happen!

Gave my presentation this morning, they said I did so well I could start today!!! It's not official as I have to work on some details. Huge news for me. The big pressure is off, so I can look at my goals again.

Than you all for keeping this going. Welcome Prince_Sunbeam. We will have a buddy for you soon. I hope to be on more now the pressure is off. Since I was off the little mini contest has ended.

All one had to do was say something positive about their partner. Here are the names I have.

1.tailrustedtealeaf
2.ponyfan
3.heathersmoo
4.shatyr
5. Me!!! Haha just kidding. I did post, but my entry is going to prince_sunbeam since they decided to join:)

Please let me know if I missed a post. Hope to post the winner tonight.

Love this group and keep it going!!!

I made tomato soup from scratch last night. It didn't take too long and was pretty easy. If only I can muster up the energy to make more healthy meals like that more often.
Welcome, Sunbeam!
Glad to hear your presentation went well! Hopefully things will ease up.

I just used this one form Allrecipes. It's a pretty basic soup, which is fine because I didn't need anything too fancy. I didn't have a food mill so I just used a blender on the chunks and added it back in before making the roux. I did have to add paste because the soup was too thin, but it was a good use of an hour or two!

Wow Tailrustedtealeaf! Homemade soup is SOOOO good! And such a great way to spend some extra time if you have it. Making food from scratch is so great!

Yum homemade soup!  I made some green tomato soup the other day... very tasty stuff.  Then I made tomatillo chicken tacos, also very good.  Now I need to make some salsa verde and that will use up all of my tomatillos from the massive freezer stash I had from several years ago.

Nothing else seems to be going right in my life right now, except my cooking!  And that's not helping our budget as food prices just keep rising in Canada.  I had hoped to keep our budget at $170 per person per month but it has almost risen to $190 and I haven't been buying anything different!  :(

Lovesbabysquirmy, inflation stinks! You get the same thing, but prices go up. If you have a lot of produce the season can affect the price.

My husband is teaching me how to cook, I am very bad. I tend to mess up boxed pasta, boxed desserts like cakes, and managed to burn pancakes and have liquid batter in the middle. Hubby checked it was not the heat, and they were not thick either...hahaha. still a great memory.

In my job we have what is called 1a. It's your mindset. I was doing really well for a moment at work...and I did very well for the new position, but today I did not feel I performed at my best. I am getting in my head and ruining my 1a. Ugh. Not sure how to keep a level head. Any advice on positives and fixing the mind, I am all eyes on this forum:)

Whoops forgot the contest.....I had 5 people who posted....so I gave each person 2 numbers. On my list number 1 was also number 6, 2 was also 7. And so forth. Number generator picked......8. Let's see if the winner picks up on it and PM me their address:)

Got some more work done, up to 75% done on products (3 items left) and I got a good amount of admin stuff done (up to 34% from 6% last week - really a lot of items were just getting things printed). So overall I'm at 55% prepped, with 6 weeks left to go.

Since signing up a few days ago, I haven't had the chance to work out, but I have picked up my smallest stitching project and gotten it much closer to done! It's a gift for my sister, and today we actually made a plan to get together in about 10 days so now I have a real deadline to finish it!
