35th Anniversary Pretty Parlor with G1 Comparison

I know these are just starting to show up in stores so many people have not had a chance to get them yet, but since I was able to get one today I wanted to compare the two and thought I'd share the pictures. Unfortunately some of my G1 items are misplaced at the moment (darn me for being a disorganized child and mixing up my toys, now I will have to go searching) but I made notes about those items in the description section if you click on the individual pictures. My original G1 pretty parlor was the version sold without Peachy.

The biggest difference in regards to accessories is that the 35th Anniversary Pretty Parlor does not come with a blanket, ribbons or additional name plates for any other ponies.

ohhh I really don't have room for a whole playset, I told myself I wasn't getting this but I am impressed by how good this looks! It's so close to the original, and they even included accessories and Twinkles! Seeing as I don't have an original pretty parlor maybe I won't end up passing this set by I'm excited to see what else Bridge Direct will do for My Little Pony, they've been much more lovingly crafted the the Hasbro 25th sets

I would be ecstatic if they produced the Fancy Swirl prototypes!  I know I'm trying onavoid buying more pnies, but I REALLY love celestial ponies!

This is awesome!  Nice pictures.  I got it for Christmas when I was a kid.  Loved it so much.  I'll have to think about getting this new one.  I kept all the parts but the parlor turned green and it got donated.

I ordered it online at Target's website, searched for a local store that had it in stock and picked it up in store. The Pretty Parlor is listed at $19.99 plus tax. From the website you can search to find a local store that has it in stock. I did notice that the few stores that had it listed in stock only had ONE. Not sure if that is because it is so early or if they will only get in limited amounts.

Thanks for the pics. I never got the G1 Pretty Parlor growing up and was wondering how the reproduction playset compared to the original. I think it looks really good although the new Twinkles (while very cute) doesn't look very accurate.

I really want a Pretty Parlor now.
