I don’t really know much about that playset to be honest. I can’t remember it at all from when I was a kid, but I doubt we had the BBE- version. I think I would have remembered seeing her...

Strange that you guys had so many versions of it though? I didn’t realize BBEs were sold in Europe at all, actually.

Is it the same with Baby Cotton Candy? (or maybe thats common knowledge)

I got her as a child, MOC, not in a Play ´n´Care-set. And she has a forelock and tight curls.

Good question! I don’t know? I had baby Blossom as a kid, my sister had baby Surprise. They were both from the US boxed PnC set. They both have forelocks.

My sister also has baby CC, but she is bought second-hand. I have no idea if she came from box or card, but she has a forelock (and curls).  Those members replying here have confirmed that both carded and boxed versions of baby Firefly has a forelock. I don’t think we can conclude with anything really, other than it does seem like it is more common with forelock than without. It would be fun to see if any of the other baby ponies that traditionally came with forelocks (surprise, blossom and CC) in this set also had counterparts (like baby Firefly) without forelocks.

If anyone has a baby pony from this set without forelock I would love to hear about it
