Hi,

I went to Dollar Tree today and they had some 2019 calendars. There are several different ones including retro Strawberry Shortcake, Popples, Lisa Frank and Care Bears. Here are a few pics.

I have seen these all over Instagram, I would die for the Popples one, unlikely I will ever find one though

That Popples one is certainly interesting. I don't recall much retro merch for those.

Well... Popples doesn't get as much merch as SSC does. So that's one point for Popples.

Is the carebear one Elena Kucharik artwork?

They're only a buck. Get both. Just have em in different rooms or something.

I don't think it is. The calendar is mostly retro but has some newer bears like Heart Song Bear and Best Friend Bear on it.

I couldn't choose between Popples or Strawberry Shortcake.

Darn. I don't mind new bears at all. But I prefer that original soft style of hers (and she's still active in drawing the bears on occasion, I believe).
