PC German baby Glory
« on: July 25, 2018, 06:01:05 AM »
I thought she was badly damaged because all the glitter was gone and no silver stripe. Apparently she is a German version of baby Glory.

Does it make a difference price wise or is the German just as 'regular'?

She's not so much German as European :)

There is some information on her here:

I've not kept up to date with her price, last time I looked she was about $20 this may well have changed!

My childhood Baby Glory was also sold on card with only a bottle, but she has the glittery symbol. I remember getting her because I wasn’t that young when my mom bought her for me.

Edit: I’m in Norway btw ;)

I'm actually not surprised to hear you had the glittery version as a child! Once I would have been, but I have seen glittery ones crop up for sale which makes me think they did have a wider distribution.

The back cards are so sweet, I love the art work :)

Yes! I remember first coming to the Arena in 2006, and I think a lot of people didn’t really believe me when I told that story  I almost thought I remembered it wrong, but that seemed weird as well since I ever only had her bottle and I remember it so clearly. But now I’ve seen MOC versions of her with glitter symbol and there has been sold several from that set with their cards (not MOC) over the years with glitter symbols as well. I feel less stupid when I tell people about it now;)

I love the backcard as well- but I love most backcards though

I have this feeling LadyG did some research on these, especially with regards Scandinavian releases at some point in the way distant past? I seem to remember her saying that there could be glittery ones on the card as well as painted ones...

Kind of like, I guess, you can get Movie Star buttons with either big buttons or buttons and stars...
