Nail polish? Oh dear... make sure you keep her far far far away from your other ponies! In a few months/years, she'll go all sticky and the nail polish will start to slide off her and discolour the plastic underneath. NOT a recommended product for customizing!
Yeah, nail polish is a no-no. She looks very nice right now though I love her colors!

It simply isn't meant for long term wear, so even if the acrylic protects the plastic it will still get goopy and gross. I don't know if it will still discolor the plastic though...
Hey, your first custom looks good! While nail polish is not ideal, it may be a fun experiment to see how the pony keeps. Make it a part of the learning process. Fable Scape is also coming along nicely! Blind bags are tiny and you did a great job on the details.
