Where could I ask questions about repairing toys?

Hello again! A hinge of an electronic toy of mine broke up and I'd like to know where could I ask for recommendations to put it back together again. I know the members of this forum can tell you exactly what's wrong with your pony and how to fix them up, and I'm wondering if there's a webpage/blog/forum/something/someone that is as helpful as this one but has a broader range of knowledge... 

I'll explain my case in more detail under spoilers just in case someone knows:

Apparently, all I need is to fit the extremes of two small springs inside two holes so the hinge will work again. But the holes are smaller than the springs' diameter so I can't fit them there, or at least don't know how to
