POTD 7/17/18 Toola-Roola

Happy Tuesday! This week we're going abstract, focusing on art-related ponies.
We're looking at  Toola-Roola. There are many releases of her so please post some additional pictures!

One of the best and cutest g3's! I have her in my herd, and always imaguined that she's Fingerpaint's sister!

Have and want a version, I have her in G3.5 form, and also Newborn Cutie form, but I don't have a normal G3 of her yet, which is a shame as she's my favorite Core 7. I do have her McDonald's toy and Busy Book figure though.

I've got a few. I've got the G3.5 twice as fancy version, the basic Core 7 version with tinsel and glitter on her face and cutie mark, and I just bought the version with the paint splotches on her side. I also have the McDonald's toy.

I don't care for her.  The original Toola Roola had the Celtic 'spiral of life' as her symbol, and her name was a reference to the song Toora Loora Loora.  ("Toora loora loora, that's an Irish lullaby."

Core 7 Toola Roola doesn't have the Celtic symbol and without that her name just sounds like gibberish instead of a reference.  Her color scheme, while nice, is a direct rip from G3 Rarity.  And *snaps fingers sassily* Rarity wore it better, girl!

The art-themed version is new to me, she's cute but I'm not head-over-heels with her. The Celtic version is a bit more up my alley, being a raging folkie 'n' all.

She's cute, I don't have her yet. I don't have a strong opinion on her really. I enjoy how she was drawn in G3.5.

This is the pony I also think of when I think of Toola Roola. I don't like the core 7 version at all. It looks thrown together and all over the place. I agree that the Celtic symbol was a nice touch on the original, and her colour scheme worked well. I am pretty sure I have the original version of Toola that LM pictured here, but not any of her later clonespawn.

Well... she is a hunk of plastic with hair so at least she isn't hurt by that?
