Pony Poll - How do you collect your pre-owned G1's?

I'm usually fine with just the pony, but when I have the opportunity to buy a pony with a comb, ribbon, or any other accessory for a good price I'll buy it. There are some ponies I'd like the ribbons and combs for, but I don't go out of my way to find them. I'm not too big on backcards.

It's all about the pony for me - but I am not a completionist at all, not even worried about getting full sets, just the ponies I like.
If the accessories come with them then that's nice and I keep them safe.

When thrift store shopping I have found accessories on the same trips as finding G1 MLP ponies like.... once.  Once ever.  Actually I don't find accessories all that often. 
I LOVE accessories but I don't have many really.  So I mostly collect loose ponies.

Ribbons I am honestly meh about, only because one can go to the store and buy all kinds of awesome ribbon there too.  It doesn't HAVE to be original with me...

I am mainly here for the ponies, I really dont care for comb or brushes they came with, but I do like the barrettes, stuff that came with baby ponies. As well as things like the wands that came with the princess ponies, it all depends on what they came with.

I'm totally fine with just having the pony, but if I can get my hands on the matching brush or other accessories, I will ^^ I don't display them together necessarily, but in separate labeled bags for each pony/set because I'm a sucker for organizing stuff xD

Fine with just the pony itself, but having accessories is always a nice bonus when it happens!

I'm generally just good with the pony.  I will keep the accessories if I happen to come across them though.  The only accessories I've really hunted down was to complete my Lullaby Nursery set.

If it can't be worn, I don't go out of my way for it. If it can't be used as a prop in a photo (i.e. duck pull toy, pillow) I don't care at all. I like wearable accessories but don't usually care what came with whom, though big Brothers' and princess ponies' hats  are the exception sometimes.

Ponies only! I like to display my collection, and I'd end up loosing the brushes.

I love it if the pony comes with it's ribbon... But I won't actively hunt those down

I normally collect just the ponies, unless the accessory is an important part of the pony.
eg. Soda sipping pony sundaes, big brother hats, nurse hats, that sort of stuff

The Soda Sippins have fantastic accessories. I wouldn't accept a Roller Skater without them either.

Oh and I want a baby sea pony with her floatie.

Just the pony is all I need. I have accessories with my G3s but I can do without them, especially Balloon Flying Merriweather's balloon which is always playing music because I keep bumping it when I sift through my closet.

I’m fine with just the pony. I don’t actually have any real g1 brushes or accessories, save for peachy’s little hat.

Mostly I just want to buy the pony, but I consider it a great bonus if it comes with original accessories like brushes or hair clips.  If it comes with the original backcard or box  then all the better.  Recently have been buying up big lots of brushes and combs, I love how they look displayed in a large decorative glass jar which all the beautiful colours jumbled together.

Just the pony for me, especially since I mostly buy baity ponies for restoration. Ribbons can be replaced by ribbon from the local craft shop (all ponies must have a ribbon. I like ribbon a lot). I will buy accessories if it's something the ponies can wear or use as a prop in photos, but I don't mind about matching it up to the correct pony, e.g. Baby Dibbles has currently adopted the pull-along duck but I'm pretty sure it's not hers originally.

For some reason I have a bag of random combs and brushes. No idea why. I'm always meaning to sort them out.

Backcards and boxes are fun and interesting, but I only have two. I couldn't justify the expense of collecting them, and I'm not sure where I would keep them. If I had lots of money and space, I might collect the backcards for all my favourite ponies (I have about 50 favourite ponies; they get to live on a bookcase while the others live in a cupboard) and have a folder of them, probably in chronological order....but a lot of my favourite ponies are UK/European ponies, or Argentinian/Brazilian/Mexican, so I think collecting backcards would be very expensive and/or completely impossible! So I'll stick to looking at pictures online.
