It seems people have started reporting cracks in their Switches?

I don't have them (I bought mine the day it was released), but I rarely, if ever, dock mine, and I probably only have 500 hours worth of game time in it.

Stuff like this is why I never buy launch release consoles. I learned my lesson with the PS2.

Oh fun.  Sometimes I am glad my DD is only aware of the WiiU.

We just had to send ours to get fixed due to a recent software update causing orange freeze screen issues, I'd hate to have any other issues with it.
Unfortunately my sisters are quite rough with their things, and they are the ones that use it the most. If it's due to the heat effecting the plastic (which was mentioned may have been the case in the article), then there is no saving it from the hours of Splatoon 2.
