Ooh, the writers of ATLA are cooking up something entirely new called The Dragon Prince. Its nice to see that some people give a darn about creating beautiful, thoughtful, rich shows that don't treat kids like fragile idiots.

 There are more new cartoons out that don't treat kids like idiots. CN's Summercamp Island just started out and is very whimsical and calm. Much lile a spiritual successor to Adventure Time.

I am looking forward to this even tho it looks a bit boring (the premise, not the art). A show inspired by East Asian animation, philosophies and mythology - just like ATLA and Korra. But merged with Lego Elves, something the studio that animated ATLA and Korra also worked on. Mmmyeah...
I'll see how this goes.

Just because you hate it doesn't mean the show is bad for children.

I don't know why you listed it. Its full of low brow, sometimes inappropriate humor, the dialogue is on par with ren and stimpy and uncle grandpa and its not a bastion of well drawn design, so no it doesn't belong on a list of beautiful, thoughtful, or intelligent cartoons.
