Gaia Online

Has anyone ever heard of Gaia, or know anyone who has? It's been around for quite a while now.  https://www.gaiaonline.com/
I've been an on again, off again member for nearly as long as that site's been active (since 2003).
To kill some time, I put together a user-run event last year, and one this year (still ongoing).

Wow, now there's a blast from the past! I had a Gaia account back in college (around 2007 - now I feel old!), it's probably still there gathering dust somewhere. It's nice to see old internet things still going strong after all these years.

well, I figured since 2018 is just one long year of throwbacks and revivals with cartoons and toylines, why not bring up old websites?

That is true; I'm quite enjoying the throwback-itis that's going on right now!
I think most of my time on Gaia back in the day was spent messing around on the forums, playing games and trying/failing to recreate my character designs using the available items.

well, there are a slew of new items to play with, now. Well into the millions.....
Some of the forums are kinda stagnant, but some aren't.  What forum did you used to hang out in most often?

yeah, there's a lot to to with the avatar and dressing up. I'm pretty sure a new item gets released on a daily basis.

I've been on Gaia since 2003.. but for the last 8 years it's been more of a 'drift in, drift out' thing.
